Deployment and management of water quality instruments.

Municipal Propagation

Collaboration with towns to purchase shellfish seed from local hatcheries.

River Herring Network

A society for river herring wardens and volunteers.

About Us

The goal of the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension Marine Program is to establish, develop and carry out education programs in marine resource development, to assist with problems concerning coastal industries and the management of coastal resources, and to transfer technological innovations, educational and informational materials to public officials, educators, and marine user groups.

The Cape Cod Cooperative Extension Marine Program carries out its mission in cooperation with the Woods Hole Sea Grant Program at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Funding for SEMAC activities is provided by the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.
